Space opera Mass Effect has come back in it's long awaited sequel, Mass Effect 2. If you played the first one and found it enjoyable, then you will find this one to be even better in all the right areas. This time around however, are we really playing the same game? Or has it become something completely different? I definitely found something to enjoy in the sequel, and even if you haven't played the original, Bioware has again crafted something that shouldn't be missed.

Do you enjoy the thrill of the chase? The excitement of the first kiss, the mishaps and the misunderstandings of teenage love? Then this is the article for you! I have searched the vast interwebs for you, including my own personal collection and favourites, to bring what I see as some of the finest anime that involves your favorite topic, romance. Mind you, there are probably many more out there to find, but if you are either out of anime to watch, or want a good starting point, take some of these lovely titles for a spin. It ranges from old to new, so as to further your anime knowledge, experience and tastes!

It's a fantastical world filled with wonder and warmth. It's also a mysterious and dark abyss filled with depth and intrigue. Whenever you wander a dungeon picking up treasures and fighting endless hordes of baddies, whenever you barter with the townsfolk, and whenever you transform your pet into a giant spider, it adds to the great and addictive feeling you get from playing Runic Games' first foray into gaming, Torchlight. The brainchild of ex Blizzard developers really shows a lot of loving affection and attention, but even so, is it the next big thing in action RPG's, or is it something really forgettable?

So, let me get this straight: We have a girl named Yamada, and she is going to high school for her first year. Okay, that's reasonable. But then they throw this in my face; her high school 'goal' is to get one hundred notches on her bedpost. Okay.. now we are entering the awkward, cringe territory. In other words, I prepared myself to see another anime dripping with fan service and sexual innuendo galore. And for the most part that's what it ended up being, but what the show does do for light hearted comedies, it does well enough to keep me watching.
After playing the Just Cause 2 demo endlessly for the past while after it came out, they recently released another demo onto the marketplace. The sequel to the 2007 RTS hit Supreme Commander. And surprisingly, just like Just Cause 2, it is published by Square Enix. Because I had started playing StarCraft again recently, this new demo sparked my interest. After playing it for a bit, I was somewhat satisfied, but never having played the first one and that combined with the seemingly pointless tutorial that didn't really teach me anything kind of turned me off to this sequel. But that being said, it did have it's interesting moments as well.

What do you get when you take one of the greatest minds in american comics Stan Lee, and introduce him to the  wonderful japanese artists at Bones? You get a product that verges on cliche, but contains so much polish and spunk, that it can stand up as one of this seasons best new upcoming shows. The first episode definitely gives a sense of updated nostalgia, from the designs of the characters (specifically the overgrown Heroman) to the setting and antagonists. And you can tell from the first time that Heroman is deployed, that this will be a great action packed show.

Over the course of time, I have found myself becoming more adept at seeking new anime and manga to read or watch, mainly depending on how bored I was at the time. At first, like a lot of people, I had a hard time finding places on the net that would give me consistent updates and a place to speak with a community of like minded people. Also it was rare for me to find a place to list all the new releases in a convenient and reliable format. Luckily, I have found a few sites that may help you in your search for your next fix!

When I was younger, I, like alot of the kids my age found myself almost infatuated with the Power Rangers series shown on networks like Fox Kids and YTV in Canada. If anyone cared to look up their roots you would find the Super Sentai series, which is what the Power Rangers stemmed from, had a long and winding history. Now when we talk about or watch Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor, I almost immediately harken back to those days filled with men in suits running around and fighting evil with cool tech at their disposal. The reason this is the case is because Guyver is essentially the exact same thing, although with a few key differences.

Welcome!

Blog ni Yōkoso!

Bienvenu!

If you understand yet, I'm actually very pleased to welcome you to this blog, which you will find is dedicated to the forms of entertainment media which may enter our lives on a daily basis. Specifically, Anime and Games (both video and otherwise.).

If you are looking for a little more of an in depth description, then know that this blog will contain things such as previews, reviews, summaries and synopsis articles. And I'll throw in some post's that I find amusing/worthwhile as well... all from my point of view and experience of course. And updates will come for the most part in a somewhat sporadic manner, but that will more than likely change over time!

The name of the blog, isn't just some mish-mash of words and fancy synonyms, I promise. It's a little take on the title of a certain Manga/Anime, and I just found it fit the blog nicely. In my humble opinion, I'd say that said certain manga/anime, it's characters and it's topics, is a good basis for the kind of lifestyle you will see this blog being seen from.

Alternatively speaking, I have been a long time fan and reader and watcher of anime and manga, and play games daily. It takes up a lot of my free time (for your benefit of course) and I enjoy it immensely with my friends and some family as well. I have a fairly good collection going, and it will no doubt grow larger over the coming years. And of course, you are welcome to read with me as it grows and as I blog about all the different and new things we will get to see and experience!

What will be the starting mark? What will be the groundwork for the inevitable world domination?

If any of this interests you then I'm sure that you will find many lovingly made posts, to further the interests and experience of both the reader and the poster.

Here's to happy blogging!
